What's included
When a sprinkler system or fire alarm is impaired, the BC Fire Code and most insurers require a fire watch until the system is restored. We deploy dedicated fire watch officers who patrol your site on a documented round schedule, maintain a compliant fire watch log, and know exactly what to do the moment something is wrong: raise the alarm, call 911, begin evacuation procedures, and stay on the line with responders. We cover construction sites, occupied buildings under impairment, hot-work operations, and post-incident sites — on shifts from a single overnight to continuous 24/7 coverage. Every round is time-stamped and logged, and the completed log sheets are yours to hand to your AHJ, insurer, or fire marshal without chasing anyone.

Common questions.
The questions our clients ask before signing — answered upfront.
Typically whenever a fire sprinkler system or fire alarm system is out of service beyond a short window, during certain hot-work operations, and after fire incidents — as directed by the BC Fire Code, your local fire department (AHJ), or your insurer. If you've been told you need one, we can usually start quickly.
Fire watch is often needed on short notice, and we staff it that way. Most deployments start within 48 hours, and same-day coverage is frequently possible — call our 24/7 dispatch line and we'll confirm availability immediately.
A compliant fire watch log: every round time-stamped with the officer's name, route and observations, plus incident notes if anything occurs. The completed log sheets are yours — ready to hand to your fire marshal, AHJ or insurer.
Officers walk a defined route covering all required areas on the agreed interval, checking for smoke, fire, hazards and blocked exits. Between rounds they remain on site and reachable. If anything is found, the protocol is immediate: raise the alarm, call 911, and begin evacuation procedures.
Fire watch is the officer's primary duty and rounds are never skipped for other tasks. On many sites, though, the presence itself deters trespass and theft — and we can staff a second officer for full security duties if your site needs both.
Fire watch is quoted hourly, comparable to static guard rates, depending on site size, round interval and shift pattern. You receive a written, line-itemed quote within one business day — and for urgent impairments, a verbal confirmation the same call.
